Annual Home Show - September 13 & October 11, 2026 

Mark your calendars for our annual Home Show in September & October. Starting this year, the Home Show will have the following 5 categories split across two months:

September 13:

• Freshwater Nano - volume less than or equal to 10 gallons

• Freshwater Small - volume greater than 10 and less than or equal to 30 gallons

• Saltwater

Photos for these three categories must be submitted to admin@desertaquaristsociety.org by Friday, September 11th.

October 11:

• Freshwater Large - volume greater than 30 gallons

• Terrarium, Paludarium, Vivarium

Photos for these two categories  must be submitted to admin@desertaquaristsociety.org by Friday, October 9th.

Winners from each category will compete in the “Best of Show” award at the December meeting.

Prizes will be as follows:

1st place in each category - $20 gift certificate

2nd place in each category - $15 gift certificate

3rd place in each category - $10 gift certificate

Best of Show - $25 gift certificate

*Gift certificates for each place and category will be predetermined.

Home Show Rules:

1. Only current members may submit entries.

2. Each member is allowed one photograph per entry and two entries per category.

3. Please indicate category in the email for each photograph you submit.

4. Everyone in attendance at the September and October meetings will vote to select winners.

5. Members must be in attendance to win.
